Throughout my time at Holmes Search I have mainly focused on recruiting into the Big 4 Regulatory Consulting firms, covering their Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Asset Management, Financial Crime and Insurance regulatory practices. I have also recruited for industry roles within leading Investment Banks and Insurance Groups.
Summary of Best Placement
My best placement would have to be the first placement that I made at Holmes Search. I sent the CV of a Junior Compliance Analyst to one of the Big 4 firms, after suggesting that a consulting role would be a good next step in their career. The candidate got the job and, after 5 years, had progressed from a junior position through to Manager, Senior Manager and then Director. The candidate is still at the firm and enjoying their successful career.
Client and Candidate Top Tip
My top tip is to build relationships, whether you are a candidate or client. If we have a good, open and honest relationship then the recruitment process is much easier to navigate and much more likely to be successful for everyone.
Interests Outside of Work
I enjoy running and keeping fit, dashing my children around to their various activities and community social action work, such as running a local food bank.
